Terms of service

SILKA acts as your buying and shipping agent. In the China→Indonesia direction, we purchase goods on your behalf from Chinese marketplaces, or from our own ready stock, and arrange consolidated freight to Indonesia. In the Indonesia→China direction, we do the same in reverse.

We are an agent, not the seller of the underlying goods, except for items marked as our own ready stock. Where we buy on your behalf, the purchase contract for that item is between you and the original seller; our responsibility is to buy as instructed, inspect, and ship.

A custom request is a quote, not an order — nothing is purchased until you approve the quoted price. A ready-stock checkout is an order the moment you complete it and pay the deposit; the price shown at checkout is locked to your order and will not be recalculated.

We reserve the right to decline a request or order, including for items we cannot legally or practically ship, before any payment is taken.

Ready-stock orders require a deposit covering the item cost and service fee before purchase. Shipping is invoiced separately once your parcel is weighed, and must be paid before onward dispatch.

We accept QRIS and bank transfer from Indonesia, and Alipay and WeChat Pay from China. Payment must be made through one of these methods and confirmed by us before we proceed.

Transit times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by customs inspection, holidays, or carrier disruption beyond our control. You are responsible for ensuring the goods you order are legal to import into the destination country; we will tell you before quoting if we know an item is restricted, but the final responsibility is yours.

Restricted or prohibited items — including counterfeit goods, weapons, and items your destination country bans — will not be shipped, and any funds already paid for that item will be refunded.

An order can be cancelled free of charge before we begin purchasing. Once purchasing has started, cancellation requires our approval and may not be possible if the goods have already been bought.

We are liable for loss or damage that occurs while goods are in our custody — from receipt at our warehouse to handover to the final courier — up to the value declared on your order. We are not liable for manufacturing defects in goods we did not manufacture, or for delays caused by customs authorities or carriers.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use of SILKA after a change means you accept the update.
